Wafat
Remembering those who returned to Allah

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Wafat (“the app”) helps you remember loved ones who have passed away, by the Hijri calendar. We take your privacy seriously, especially given the personal nature of this information.

Information we collect

How your information is stored

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider, and is private to your account. Each user can only access their own information. Photos are stored privately and are not publicly accessible.

How we use your information

We use your information only to provide the app’s features: storing your remembrances, sending you the reminders you set, and syncing your data across your devices. We do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking.

Email reminders

If you enable reminders, we send emails to your account email address on the anniversaries you choose. These are sent through our email provider solely for this purpose.

Data deletion

You can delete any remembrance, including its photo, at any time within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at support@wafat.app.

Children’s privacy

Wafat is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; changes will be posted on this page.
